Why does this feel like an online dating profile? Shall we? Let's...

Hi, my name is Jordan!

- I do, in fact, have red hair (even though I am Irish and English, I get it from a distant strain of German in my family).

- My favorite vehicles are GT-Rs, Corvettes, M3s, Jeeps, and anything with even the remotest connection to WRC.

- I live in Toledo, OH and I am ridiculously proud of where I am from and the people around me.

- I love cigars, whisk(e)y, wine, and Guinness. Oh, and occasionally I eat solid food.

- I am married to a woman more patient and beautiful than I have a right to deserve

- I enjoy hockey, specifically the Toledo Walleye and Detroit Red Wings.

- I read voraciously and in large quantities; my favorite writers are Joyce, Hemingway, and O'Rourke.

- My favorite literary character is Sherlock Holmes.

- I am probably going to be contradictory at some point in my online musings; my mind is never still and so my philosophy is never set.

- I have a background in market research and the auto biz, but economics, business, philosophy, politics, and satire are all within my wheelhouse.

Well, if you go past OLPH on you way to a hockey game sometime, look to your left and that's my current neighborhood. I hope it warms up a bit, I've yet to take my kids to lights before Christmas at the zoo.
